the prepositions are words that you can use in relationship with nouns or something else, but it´s very common find it with a noun.
Sometimes it helps to start with examples and pictures. preposition causes problems becouse sometimes they can be used interchangeably. eg: He sat on the chair: He sat in the chair.
we have three types of prepositions:
location
direction
Transportation, Time & Communication
location: The keys are on the table.
direction:
| above | higher than sth. | The picture hangs above my bed. |
transportation:We use ‘in’, ‘into’, and ‘out of’ when we are talking
about cars, vans, lorries, taxis, and ambulances.
